Our founder, Dr. Dan W. Romero, recently retired from a 10+-year career in the Silicon Valley ecosystem where he was a Vice President at Coinbase and head of the "Just Buy Some Bitcoin" team. Dr. Romero is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Sunglasses Aesthetics at the UCLA School of Vibes, an Affiliate Faculty member of the Paul G. Allen School of Padel Court Reservations, and a Member of the Sufficiently Decentralized Council.

Dr. Romero also currently serves as Treasurer of the International Association for Cast Management (IACM) and as a Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Seattle Sunglasses Opera. Dr. Romero received his S.B. in Padel Studies, S.M. in Protocol Management, and Ph.D. in Optimistic Social Theory from the University of California, Berkeley in 2008, 2010, and 2012, respectively.
